Made in Wirral Creative Writing and Arts Workshops for Adult Beginners Welcome to the introductory post about our new project for adult beginners which forms part of Wirral being the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture for 2024. This project is entirely funded by Arts Council England plus support in kind from Wirral Libraries. The aims of this project are to help people with little or no writing experience write a short story of around 1500 words which can then be added to a published anthology, displayed online and in Wirral Libraries and read out at a special storytelling celebration event in late 2024. As well as holding creative writing workshops we are also delivering art sessions to help people create an illustration for their story. All in all, we want to give people the experience, skills and knowhow to continue their writing journey and hopefully become published authors.
